Girliglo

Soap and Glory's Girliglo.

Pros:
Spray on moisture is perfectly lightweight for summer
Strongly perfumed, could be worn in lieu of EDT, it smells so sweetly divine
Easy to apply
Awesomely retro packaging
Available at Target, one of my faves.
Fun to say, Girliglo, girliglo, girliglo

Cons:
May be hard to pair with perfume unless you wear a strong citrus scent
$12

A big vitamin drink?

Weleda's Sea Buckhorn Creamy Body Wash
Meh.

Pros:
Smells great, citrusy, the boy used it while on vacation, and he didn't smell like a chick.
According to the company site, it is chock full of essential fatty acids and vitamins, which your skin can absorb.
Weleda is organic and eco minded in addition to using only fair-trade ingredients and processing.

Cons:
It is expensive at $17 per tube.
It doesn't lather at all, which is a big bummer for me. Yes, I know the lather isn't necessary to get clean, but I enjoy it nonetheless.
Didn't make my skin feel noticeably different.

Tan AND Tone

I'm not holding my breath on the "firm" promise, but hey, it can't hurt, right?
This is the second time I've purchased Nivea's Firming Self-Tanner Moisturizer, and I've gotta say, I think I liked it better the first time. I don't hate it, but lets just say I'm not through with my hunt for the perfect self tanner.

Pros:
Gradual, so you don't get orange. Or splotchy. :)
Moisturizes and tans at the same time, which is great for dry winter skin.
Maybe helps firm some cellulite.

Cons:
Smells pretty bad. (not immediately but after and hour, your skin smells very very stonrgly of self tanner. NOT recommended pre-date or pre-job-interview.)
Works so gradually you have to pretty diligent about using it fairly regularly to see effects.

Roses are red, Violets are blue

And posies are pretty.
Benefit's Posie Tint is a cheek/lip stain.
I tried it out on New Years, when I knew I'd be too busy partying, drinking champagne, and kissing when the clock struck 12 to be worried about my lipstick, and yet there's the constant looming threat of a camera flash.
Awesome. It's very pink, I recommend layering it with a deeper lipgloss, maybe something with a little shimmer, but the good news it, when that lip gloss wears off, you have a base that lasts for hours and hours so you don't get left looking like a washed out zombie mess (which is an actual concern of mine, since I'm so pale.)
I haven't quite yet figured it out on my cheeks, but I'm sure it works great for some people.

Neon, neon...

You know that song Neon, by John Mayer? Yeah, well, that's what my hair looked like last week. No, not the color on the box. Neon. Purple. The box says warm tones, and I don't know by what stretch of the imagination purple is considered a warm tone, but whatever.
Shame on me for being impatient and not wanting to wait for an appointment with my genius hairdresser, but still. If there's the slightest chance that a product could turn a consumer's hair purple, it probably shouldn't be on the shelf. Unless the color on the box is purple or it comes with a big purple warning.

Insta-Awful

Sally Hanson's Insta-Dri sound like the answer to a prayer, nails done in 60 senconds.
The problem is, your quickie mani will last all of 60 seconds before it starts to crack, peel, and otherwise be an awful tacky mess. Another $5 down the drain...
